are these thing acctually dropping as ...i would imagine 1 person on Guru would have had one by now?!

Really? i must be pretty lucky with the shards i have done like 15 or so runs (maybe around 20) and have 3 stacks.

ye you problably kill all the grenchies, most of the ppl in here will run to the end and go afk, btw:P

no. i run past all of them. i usually kill one of the solo ones but other than that i just run to the end and afk too.

Anet killed mini polar bear and forgot to tell about that.
In Kamadan i saw many wtb mini polar bear treads but not a singiel wts.

Straight to the Heart gives approx 40-50 cc shards. But it takes so long it's not worth it imho.

The most I got at the end battle in Strength of Snow is 16.

For polar bear its not really worth to do Straight to the heart but for the wintersday gifts on the other hand it might be better to pile in as much ccs as possible, if you are going for the titles.

True enough...

I am going for both sweet tooth and party titles, but doing the Strength of Snow quest because it's a lot less frustrating and I can run 2 accts at the same time with no real time loss between the two ^_^

Not even speaking of the bigger chance of the polar bear

Last year, I did 493 runs trying to get one. This year, I have a hard time sticking with it for more than three or four runs at a time. Only 19 runs so far. Wish I could farm ectos, I could buy one faster than getting it as a drop.

Spent all night last night doing runs. More today. 5 stacks of cc's so far (I'm not the fastest as I like to kill them all otherwise it's BORING....well....more boring than doing it over and over.

So far no bear, but lots of CC's and other goodies.

I can only pray to the RNG gods.

Over 2500 players on GWGuru and 0 bears...Nice drop rate.
I think the lightning thing on wiki is true

Wouldn't surprise me if that is actually true. Although I'd much rather have a MPB than get struck by lightning. >.>
